3. 成功代表某美国投资银行参加在中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会进行的关于其中国投资的合作纠纷争议仲裁案并获得全部胜诉，胜诉金额达$30,000,000。
4. 成功代表一中国化工企业就国际货物买卖合同纠纷引起的国际商会仲裁案赴新加坡开庭答辩，最终使申请人全部败诉并赔偿中国化工企业律师费及其他应诉费用。
5. 在一法国大型企业就与中国公司的合资股权并购及付款纠纷的国际商会仲裁案中为该法国企业提供咨询并通过谈判最终迫使对方支付全部欠款$50,000,000。

Ms. Helen H. Shi Partner
Ms. Helen H. Shi is a partner of Fangda Partners Beijing Office. She specializes in international arbitration and litigation. As an experienced arbitration and litigation attorney, Ms. Shi has dealt with more than 100 cases concerning disputes arising from joint venture contracts, equity acquisition, international trade, technique transfer, loan and guarantee transactions, as well as construction and real estate deals. She has successfully represented many international financial institutions, multinational companies and large-scale domestic corporations before the Chinese Court as well as the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (the “CIETAC”), the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (the “ICC”), the Arbitration Institute of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (the “SCC”) and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center. Ms. Shi concurrently serves as an arbitrator of CIETAC and as a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She has heard numerous arbitration cases and has extensive experience in international arbitration and litigation.
Ms. Shi has both Chinese and United States legal education background and benefited from the working experiences at both domestic and foreign law firms. She graduated from Renmin University of China in 1994 (LL.B.) and received her LL.M. degree at the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1999. Ms Shi’s previous work experience includes working with a U.S. based law firm for six years, acting as legal counsel for CIETAC in Beijing for three years, and one year as a visiting legal researcher at Duke University in North Carolina. Her knowledge of the law, successful working experience and communication skills have distinguished her in the international arbitration and litigation field and earned her the trust and professional reputation among her clients.

Representative Cases：

1. Currently representing the largest foreign TV shopping company before the CIETAC in an action involving $ 28,000,000 and concerning distribution rights in China.
2. Currently representing one of the largest Chinese pharmaceutical companies in a series of multidistrict class actions in the US alleging price fixing of Vitamin C.
3. Successfully represented a U.S. investment bank in a CIETAC arbitration case involving a joint venture in which the bank had invested. The tribunal supported all of the U.S. bank’s claim and awarded over $30,000,000 in compensation.
4. Successfully represented a Chinese chemical trading company defending in a hearing at Singapore (an ICC case) involving a trading dispute. The tribunal ruled against all arguments and claims of the claimant and ordered compensation of all attorney fees and costs to the Chinese company.
5. Successfully advised a French company in an ICC arbitration case involving a dispute with its Chinese partner for the payment of sold equity interests, so as to obtain all outstanding payments amounting to $50,000,000 through successful settlement negotiations.
