Mr. Li was employed by Beijing legal counsel department in Sep of 1984. Mr. Li started to have more practices in copyright legal issues since 1989, when he started to provide legal service to Cuijian, the famous rock star in China. He provided legal services to a lot of artists, writers, publishers and culture and art product institutions, and acted as unique legal counsel for films and TV programs such as there is no conferment in loving you, Fei’s daughter, lightning storm, Da Ming Gong Ci, and legal counsel for large-size culture activities such as Cuijian’s circuit concert to collect money for Asian sport game and Liu dehua’s Beijing concert in 1993. He was the only lawyer who gained the Special achievement award for China popular music in 1996 for his high frequency involving in china popular music.
The famous cases dealt by Mr. Li included: The first computer software infringement case of china, the first copyright infringement case of Chinese citizen appealing foreign enterprise, the first copyright infringement case of American’s eight film companies appealing Chinese sales agent, and so on.
